This is your cheap ticket to vintage racing. Back in 2002 Kevin erion was providing support (for lots of cash) to privateer teams who wanted to race the prestigious Formula Extreme class. Nicky Hayden and his little brother Roger both had a opportunity to race this bike for the Bruce Transportation Group. Bruce Transportation is a huge school bus company located in New Hampshire. The owners were totally committed to road racing and dumped tons of money into supporting this "privateer" team on a national level. Everything part available to Erion Racing thru HRC was thrown at the Bruce Transportation bikes. It is said that these bike cost in excess of $200k to build. Essentially full factory bikes nothing was left untouched in the quest to make these CBR929RR's the competition to beat. Adorned with GP spec Ohlins suspension front and rear, HRC one off swing arm, extremely potent Erion Racing superbike motors and a full complement of Brmebo superbike braking components the stout 929's were a force to be know on the tracks across the US. The Sharkskin body work is painted with the super trick 'School Bus' design that must be considered the fastest school buses in the world. I have two of these bikes. One is a 929 and the other is the later model 954 based. Bothe very cool and would make a nice addition to a superbike collection or a great basis for a WERA V7 assault.
