Here we have a extremely unique opportunity to acquire one of the 20 second generation or run batch of Bimota Tesi's. This particular bike has been in our collection for the past 14 years. It came directly from a well known west coast collector who absolutely knew how to identify the province of a RARE Bimota. This bike is powered by a 904cc superbike spec Ducati V twin. The belts were changed in 2014 and the bike was given a full service. I got to ride it at the time and was treated to a very interesting riding experience. The Ohlins suspended Tesi (swingers) front end attacks corners like no other machine i have ever ridden. Bodywork and paint are in very nice condition and the tires are new (but about 4 years old now) There is absolutely no front end dive when braking. Rough roadways are soaked up with amazing precision. Again no harsh rebound or compression jars..Just smooth sailing. The motor is stout for the period v-twin and the riding position in it self another of those "weird but really cool" experiences. The early Bimota LCD dash will remind you of a early 80' Atari system. With just over 1000 miles and a semi-fresh belt service this bike needs to be ridden and enjoyed. It is definitely the bookend of any Italian bike collection and surely a conversation piece anywhere you ride. Here is a little more info from the web regarding the Tesi and it's unique birth. The bike is currently located in sunny California and can be viewed at any time by appointment.
